Broward County water parks will be open to dogs in November

Take Fido for a splash this month at Broward County water parks.

During the K9 Water Festival series, dogs ages four months and older are allowed to romp in the water parks at:

Splash Adventure at Quiet Waters Park, 401 S. Powerline Road, in Deerfield Beach (Nov. 1 and 2)

Castaway Island at T.Y. Park, 3300 N. Park Road, in Hollywood (Nov. 8 and 9)

Paradise Cove at C.B. Smith Park, 900 N. Flamingo Road, in Pembroke Pines (Nov. 15 and 16)

Tropical Splash at Central Broward Regional Park, 3700 N.W. 11th Place, in Lauderhill (Nov. 22 and 23)

Admission is $3 per dog for a 50-minute session, with sessions beginning on the hour from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Park entry is $2.50 per person, with children 5 and younger free).

Dogs can be off leashes. No outside toys or dog food will be permitted. Balls and Frisbees will be provided. Food and beverages, including doggie ice cream, will be available for purchase.

To enter the water parks, dogs must be current on vaccinations and have proof of rabies vaccination.

This water event is for dogs; no people will be allowed in the water.
